Response: In order for the bacteria in Biodigesters to thrive in your spa or Hot tub, they must be protected from Ozone generators or UV light systems. These devices are sometimes supplied with hot tubs, in order to kill bacteria. When using Biodigesters these devices are not needed and in fact, are harmful to the Biodigesters..
